The status of F-indicator-fields within the theory of interval-probability

Abstract

In the theory of interval-probability the F-indicator-field of the random event A describes the information that A occurs and that nothing more is known. It will be shown how combined algebraic operations can be employed to trace back the set of F-fields to the set of F-indicator-fields. This is also a demonstration of mathematical analysis applied to the objects of the theory of interval-probability.
